Bitter rivals: Speed painting tutorial by Insuppressible
Bitter rivals: Speed painting tutorial
This month I put together a double tutorial featuring the Imperial Fists and the Iron Warriors. Remember you can use the techniques here with any miniature, especially the Iron Warrior one is a great way to start using the Non Metallic Metal technique if you have never tried it before.
I plan to do a tutorial for each of the original Astarte legions, as well as a couple of speed painted armies, so look out for them in the future.

I hope this manages to help get those dusty unpainted figures off the shelf and shown some love! :D

Oh gosh, I suck at detail painting---which is why you have my admiration, lol.  Most likely I will do shading and tone painting only.  I'll accent the sculpt as I go with embossing powders and such, so color will be added that way as well.  I tend to use different colored clays for everything, to include the irises of the eyes---even tiny ones.  Thanks for asking. :)

Thank you! I do hope you manage to finish it soon, she is very promising :D I tried my hand at sculpting but starting from scratch is not what I am apparently very good at lol, so the admiration is mutual :D

Well I am no expert, but if you want any tips or something when you do get round to painting her, please let me know! ^^
